What Happened To The 64,000 Missing Women?

64,000 Missing Women in America All Have One Important Thing in Common
More than 64,000 black women remain missing across the United States as of today.
Feb. 09,2016
Dr. Aggrey said, “If you educate a woman, you educate a nation but if you educate a man, you educate an individual.” This outlines the vital role women play in nation building. There are several women disappearing in the air every day in all the provinces of America, of which we do not hear their whereabouts.

Report says, in 2012 the total number of black women who disappeared in America totaled to 12.85% out of 34% of all missing persons. According to the Black And Missing Foundation, most women disappear in the states of New York, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland and Florida.

This is heartbreaking and uncomfortable situation and due to this, the foundation has teamed up with a TV network to make a series, Find Our Missing, telling the stories behind the women’s disappearances.

Behind the hundreds of cases are painful details sketched out by families, left wondering what has become of their loved ones. Many women have been missing for decades.

This has posed great fear and threat, hence making life unbearable and unhealthy for them in America.

Among the missing is Phoenix Coldon, 23, of St Louis, Missouri, on December 18 while Stacey English, 36, vanished in Atlanta, Georgia on Christmas Day

So many of us have heard the stories about rich people who lost it all. But one NFL baller smartened up to keep that from happening. Marshawn Lynch, player for the Seattle Seahawks, is reported to have accumulated at least $50 million in savings from his successful football career.

Those coins will come in handy as it appears that Lynch is retiring from the NFL. He took to Twitter last night with a picture of his cleats hanging and a peace sign, assuming the peace sign means goodbye.

We will miss Beast Mode unapologetical attitude and great skills all around.

The NFL reacts to the news:

Investigators said Burch’s girlfriend was inside the home at the time and immediately ran for help.

No arrests have been made as of yet.

Spike Lee And Jada Pinkett Smith To Boycott Oscars

Source: Revolutionary Mindset- Despite receiving an honorary Oscar at last year’s Governor’s Awards, Spike Lee posted on Instagram on Martin Luther King’s birthday Monday, saying he and his wife would not be attending the Oscar ceremony.

Lee’s statement said, “We Cannot Support It And Mean No Disrespect To My Friends, Host Chris Rock and Producer Reggie Hudlin, President Isaacs And The Academy. But, How Is It Possible For The 2nd Consecutive Year All 20 Contenders Under The Actor Category Are White? And Let’s Not Even Get Into The Other Branches. 40 White Actors In 2 Years And No Flava At All. We Can’t Act?! WTF!!” It continues, “Dr. King Said ‘There Comes A Time When One Must Take A Position That Is Neither Safe, Nor Politic, Nor Popular But He Must Take It Because Conscience Tells Him It’s Right.’” He then lays out what he sees as the reason for the problem: “As I See It, The Academy Awards Is Not Where The ‘Real’ Battle Is. It’s In The Executive Office Of The Hollywood Studios And TV And Cable Networks. This Is Where The Gate Keepers Decide What Gets Made And What Gets Jettisoned To ‘Turnaround’ Or Scrap Heap. People, The Truth Is We Ain’t In Those Rooms And Until Minorities Are, The Oscar Nominees Will Remain Lilly White.”

Jada took time out on MLK day as well in order to remind us to never beg and always keep our dignity.
