With so much racism and ungrateful behavior going on towards African Americans, it’s time we take a stand and unite as one.

Beyonce’s ‘Formation’ video seemed to have awakened many Negro people, that ignores or simply don’t care. However, certain powerful black people are getting into Formation by pulling their hard earned money out of big corporation banks and transferring it to black owned banks. This will definitely get their attention, if not anything else. Sometimes you have to show folks that you mean business, literally.
There are a total of 21 African American banks for us to choose from and make a difference.

img_20160211_211326.jpg

These 21 banks have total assets of approximately $4.7 billion dollars. This is a measly 0.43 percent of the $1.1 trillion dollars of annual spending power of the African American community. That’s right, we have over a trillion dollars in spending annually, but only keep $4.7 billion dollars of this in Black Owned Banks.

Here is the full list of those banks below:

Lottery Winner Slain In Home Robbery

A Georgia forklift operator was shot to death in a home invasion Thursday just months after winning a almost half-million-dollar lottery jackpot.

Burch struck gold on November 29, 2015 when he hit the lottery. The hardworking young man did not flaunt his earnings in a boastful way, instead he is said to have helped the community.

Craigory Burch Jr., 20, died from gunshot wounds on Stubbs Avenue in Fitzgerald, a local NBC News affiliate reported.

Investigators said Burch’s girlfriend was inside the home at the time and immediately ran for help.

No arrests have been made as of yet.

Burch had just won a $434,272 Fantasy 5 jackpot in November. His friends said he had recently used some of his winnings to buy Christmas presents for people in need, NBC reported.

Yelp rated the shop with a remarkable four and-a-half stars.

Styles P and JadaKiss note in a video from Elite Daily, “Our juice bars are open in the hoods on purpose to educate our people on health awareness.” Build it and they will come. “Most of the hood don’t have access to good food, most of the hood don’t have health insurance…” so the two rappers explains, a juice bar achieves several attainable goals: Uplifting the community by providing a place for new employees and a place to seek healthy nourishment. It’s also a platform for the rappers to testify to their old neighbors how they feel now that they’re leading a much healthier lifestyle. This is something that has gained much respect in our eyes. Too many celebrities are promoting drugs, alcohol and unhealthy choices, so it feels great to see one of our own, stepping out on faith. Leadership has to start somewhere.
