Celebrities Like Usher And Jermaine Dupri Take Their Millions To Black Owned Banks

img_20160211_211146.jpg

With so much racism and ungrateful behavior going on towards African Americans, it’s time we take a stand and unite as one.

Beyonce’s ‘Formation’ video seemed to have awakened many Negro people, that ignores or simply don’t care. However, certain powerful black people are getting into Formation by pulling their hard earned money out of big corporation banks and transferring it to black owned banks. This will definitely get their attention, if not anything else. Sometimes you have to show folks that you mean business, literally.
There are a total of 21 African American banks for us to choose from and make a difference.

These 21 banks have total assets of approximately $4.7 billion dollars. This is a measly 0.43 percent of the $1.1 trillion dollars of annual spending power of the African American community. That’s right, we have over a trillion dollars in spending annually, but only keep $4.7 billion dollars of this in Black Owned Banks.

Here is the full list of those banks below:

#WATERFORFLINT PROOF !!! So, I'm on tour & not in the US as I'd like to be to help with this water crisis in Flint, Michigan 1st hand…. #1 because my younger sister & her children live there & 2nd because I care. Most celebs on here faking using the word "Pledge" in their so called donations are not fooling anyone ! The truth is the population in Flint, Michigan is about 105,000 people & it takes at least 9 bottles per person a day just to use to bathe, brush their teeth, drink & cook with… So on behalf my charity @TheRobinHoodProject I am donating $1,000,000 in water bottles..$500,000 coming out of my own pocket (which is everything I've made on tour up to this point) & the other 1/2 being met by @AvitaWater & the 1st drop is being made TODAY 1pm eastern time at "Food Bank East Michigan" 2300 Lapeer Road flint Michigan 48503 & the 1st drop will be 1400 cases of water equaling about 33,000 bottles today & everyday that follows until 1,000,000 bottles of water are dropped !!!! To those who think it's easy getting this water to Flint, it's not so the people who are PLEDGING they are, show us.. We want proof !!! Stop using others tragedies for your own celebrity gain… You're not fooling ANYONE ! I seen @Madonna & @JimmyFallon's $10,000 donations… that's cute, but not nearly enough…. So I challenge both & anyone else in the world to match me & DONATE $1,000,000 in bottled water to Flint, Michigan & we want proof, shipping order receipts, bank wire receipts, pictures etc……….. No more pretending to give a fuck….. I donate money all the time & it comes out of my pocket & never once have I written anything off on my taxes because that's not why I do it !!!!!!!! So, if any other celebrity wants to MATCH MY MILLION here's the site where you can donate http://selfmadefoundation.org or pick your own.. JUST MAKE SURE THE WATER ACTUALLY GETS TO THE PEOPLE WHO NEED IT !! & I don't wanna see anyone else using the word "PLEDGE" in their donation or press release because we know that that means. "YOU JUST TALKING & TRYING TO MAKE YOURSELF LOOK LIKE A HUMANITARIAN" !!! #WaterForFlint #TheRobinHoodProject #AvitaH20Corp #SelfmadeFoundation #HUMANPOWERBALL

The whole horrific dilemma began when reports showed Governor Snyder attempted to save money in the State. Somehow the water pipes became contaminated with lead. The outcome of the so called budget has left thousands of citizens infected of lead poisoning.

Other celebrities stepped up as well including P. Diddy, Cher, Eminem, Mark Wahlberg, Meek Mill, Big Sean and more. This is amazing, how some of the most fortunate people are stepping in at a tragic time. There is still a very long way to go but this is a great start!

Matt Damon Supports Diversity Protest In Hollywood

PARK CITY, Utah (AP) — Matt Damon says the movie business has “a long, long, long way to go” when it comes to diversity.

Hollywood must do “much, much, much more” to reflect the audiences who watch movies, the best actor nominee told The Associated Press on Saturday.

“We’re talking about huge systemic injustices around race and gender that are a lot bigger than the Oscars,” Damon said. “They’re massive issues in our industry and in our country.”

Diversity has dominated the conversation around the Academy Awards since last week’s nominations revealed a second consecutive year of all-white acting nominees. On Friday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced sweeping changes that include doubling its female and minority members by 2020.

Damon said the move is “a wonderful first step.”

“But that’s what it is,” he said. “A first step.”

We are happy that other non black A-list stars are able to see the favoritism that Hollywood has been doing for far too long. If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. Way to go Matt!

Ed Hartwell And Keshia Knight Pulliam Share Wedding Photo

Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell got engaged and quickly walked down the aisle. The couple got married in a little over 20 days.

Big Tigger threw accusations out telling everyone that the new couple may have already been married when the world found out about the engagement. Maybe he was telling the truth after all.

Keshia took to Instagram to share a shocking photo of the couple kissing taken during their wedding ceremony with the caption: The most AMAZING day of our life!!! New “Kandidly Keshia” available on play.it/Keshia. Listen as we share our magical wedding day. #IAmOfficiallyMrsHartwell

We wish the couple everlasting love but can’t help but wonder how the two moved so fast after Pulliam had recently been in a relationship with Big Tigger for so many years.

Ryan Phillippe Invited Ex-Wife Reese Witherspoon To His Wedding; Fiancé Disagrees

Ryan Phillippe is engaged to longtime girlfriend, Paulina Slagter. Phillippe, 41, and his 24-year-old law student love have been dating for four years.

Paulina is on her way to graduating from Stanford University. In the meantime, a wedding is on the way.

Sources confirmed that Ryan invited ex wife, Reese Witherspoon to the upcoming matrimony but his fiancé disagreed.

What we hear is, Reese and Ryan is in a really great place as co-parents and friends, however, if I we’re Reese, I would politely decline as a form of respect.

We will have to wait and see what happens on the wedding day.
