In the past few weeks there has been tragedy after tragedy in a country that had us all under the impression of “Freedom”.
African Americans are constantly victimized and descriminated against when we practically built America with our bare hands.
Last Tuesday a Baton Rouge native, husband and father by the name of Alton Sterling was gunned down at the hands of BRPD officers on camera. Sterling was selling CDs outside ofva supermarket with the permission of the store owner.
The police officers are seen on video slamming Alton to the ground while restraining both arms. Suddenly out of nowhere you can hear one officer yell “he got a gun” followed by him unloading six bullets into Alton’s chest.
From the video, it is evident that Sterling’s hands are empty and in no way shape or form was he holding a firearm.
The same day and to a nations disbelief, another African American male by the name of Philando Castile, was racially profiled against and pulled over in his vehicle. Philando explained to the Minnesota Police Officer that he had a gun in the vehicle but was legally licensed to carry.
From the video recording, Philando’s spouse is explaining to everyone that the officer asked him to get his license and as soon as he reached for the license, the officer shot him four times.
The entire encounter seems to be evident of coldblooded murder.
A few days later Alva Braziel was shot ten times by the Houston Police while walking down the street. Witnesses say that he was simply minding his business before being gunned down. I got a chance to view a short video of Braziel holding his hands in the air before being unloaded on.
Following these killings, the entire country is unsettled and constantly in fear of being shot by the very badge that vowed to protect and serve. All of that while families are left to bury their loved ones and children are now fatherless.
Celebrities such as Lebron James, Alicia Keys, Common, Beyonce, Queen Latifah, Tracee Ellis Ross, Chris Rock, The Game, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Yandy Smith, Pharrell Williams, Chris Brown Carmelo Anthony and more spoke messages of encouragement, hope, unity and political activism.
Snoop Dogg and The Game took to the streets of L. A. and unified longtime rival gang members, Crips and Bloods tobstepnup and protect their communities instead of destroying it.
Carmelo Anthony called on his fellow athletes to get serious about a fight against corruption in politics.
Yandy Smith-Harriss held a meeting of unity in New York.
Beyonce held a special vigil at her concert while the names of the many victims of police brutality displayed on a huge projected screen.
T. I. took to the streets of Atlanta and protested side by side with the citizens.
It is about time that these role models take on the positions of power they have and demand action, build our black communities and stand with the citizens in this ongoing struggle. They have the ability to organize and persuade change quicker than the average American which is one the most important decisions that they will ever make in their careers/lives. The revolution must be taken seriously by any means necessary.
You’ve heard the horrible stories concerning one of our greatest comedians, Katt Williams, lately, unless you live under a rock.
It’s troubling to see such a talented black man go through hell, right before your very eyes. Well, unfortunately that’s exactly what I have witnessed lately.
Williams has been arrested back to back along with an infamous fight with a 17 year old boy. Tragic isn’t it?
That is what the average person sees but not me. What I have seen is a kind man being ridiculed in front of a nation.
A while ago, I posted a video of Katt speaking the truth about drugs and Illuminati in Hollywood. He also exposed detailed information in regards to the FEMA camps. From what I understand is those camps were built in order for the government to enforce Marshall Law. It’s strange that shortly after speaking his mind, his life turned upside down.
This is called propaganda. The media literally chews one up and spits you out whenever they feel like you no longer benefit them.
Going through #KattWilliams hashtag is none other than disturbing to me at this point. The relentless negativity from black people did not sit well with me being a conscious individual. All I could think of was how much we hate and tear down each other. It’s quite sad to be honest.
Before I leave, I want to give a message to whomever reads this:
Katt Williams literally gave fans money out of his pocket at his comedy show, without hesitation. Not only that but he took time out to snap pictures with as many as possible.
Lastly, have you heard of the recent story about when he helped a stranded woman on the side of the road? He was late for an important meeting just so he could help a citizen in need. Think about that when you think of a celebrity who truly cares and spread love instead of hate. (Photo Courtesy: Black Truth TV)
It’s not like anyone’s surprised at the failing film because Egyptians are not white people.
A few months ago, we reported this story along with great disappointment at almost the entire cast are European.
The director issued a public apology but apparently, the public was not buying it’s sincerity.
We just got word that this movie just so happened to be the lowest grossing, opening in 2016.
Check out the article below via (TheWrap.com):
The $140 million swords-and-sandals epic from Lionsgate will open to roughly $14 million, making it the year’s biggest flop so far.
“Gods of Egypt,” the big-budget swords-and-sandals epic from Summit and Lionsgate, is bombing at the box office.
The Alex Proyas-directed action fantasy, which has a steep $140 million production budget, took in just $4.8 million in its first day of release Friday and is heading for around $14 million for the three days. The projected weekend haul — one-tenth of its budget — makes it the biggest flop of the year so far.
It will finish second but well behind “Deadpool,” which stars Ryan Reynolds and will claim its third-straight weekend win. Fox’s tale of the trash-talking superhero with a boulder on his shoulder is heading for $30 million after bringing in nearly $9 million on Friday. Its domestic haul will hit $285 million and its worldwide gross more than $550 million by Sunday.
Actress turned singer, Tisha Campbell-Martin has not been on the scene for a few years since the cancellation of hit comedy series, ‘My Wife And Kids’, alongside Damon Wayans.
Well, she hopped back on the scene a few months ago with a hot song ‘Steel Here’. In the song, she displayed her vocal talents. This came as no surprise to the older fans because we all used to hear her sing on mega hit show ‘Martin’s.
This week, Tisha released a new video titled ‘Lazy B*tch’, where it’s leaning more towards rapping. The jam is kind of catchy.
Check out this clip of Campbell-Martin’s new track below:
As you know Black America is not here for the recent foolish comments from Stacey Dash on Fox News.
Dash talked down on BET Networks and NAACP, saying, we shouldn’t have those platforms. It started a big discussion on whether she is trying to kiss Up to White America or really believed the nonsense coming from her mouth.
Allegedly someone recently got their hands on an audio conversation between Dash and one of her friends where she claims, she took the job at Fox News in order to pay her bills and put her kids through college.

Apparently Karen Civil published a false article of why rapper Camron was allegedly dropped from Def Jam. According to Camron, the allegations are false and he was never dropped but left willingly, for more money and better opportunities.
Camron was so upset at the article, he took to social media and checked Karen OG style plus he claims that she stole $60, 000 from his friend.
mr_camron”#KarenCivil IsALiar I’ve haven’t went in on Karen ever and been proud of what she’s accomplished.. Even if she’s lied and stole to get there.. But u not gonna put me in ya bullshit.. Despite what people think Jay-Z and I were not enemies.. He signed off on mad projects we did.. When he didn’t have too.. And showed my crew love.. It wasn’t till I Left DefJam (not kicked out) till we fell out..and I still respect his hustle and business savvy.. And what he’s accomplished.. With that out the way.. Karen civil worked for me and never gave us a shoutout or anything.. And that’s fine.. But don’t LIE.. I never got kicked out of anywhere.. LA Reid was kind of enough to let me out the deal once he got to def jam.. Cause I had a 5 million dollar deal waiting for me at Warner bros.. And LA Reid begged me to stay.. But I had to grab that bag.. (Thx LA) this story Karen is telling is just another one of her lies..she stole 60k from my cousin @darealdukedagod (and we still have all the bank statements if u wanna Pursue this KAREN) and has yet to pay him back..
